Favorite YT Memory:
Touring the memorials and the Sunset Parade at the Iwo Jima memorial really hold fast as prominent memories from my Youth Tour experience. Being given the chance to tour and truly experience the city of Washington, D.C. was beyond fabulous. Also, seeing the Korean War memorial was deeply special for me. Knowing this was made to honor soldiers like my grandfather (who fought there) and his brother (who gave his life in that war) brought me such reverence for our nation’s armed forces.

Favorite YLC Memory:
Our team-building exercise (making the spaghetti towers). Dinner with Julie, Adam, and Dewayne at the Rain Forest Café in Nashville. :o) Marching in so gallantly with our state flags at the NRECA Annual Meeting. Our talent show night in Lincoln. Everything! Each person in my group of YLC members had so much charisma! Each person had a unique perspective and background. I feel blessed to have met so many amazing individuals who truly will take part in leadership roles in time to come. What an awesome experience!
